Site Location
Hoi Ha locates at self-enclosed bay in Sai Kung.

Conservation Status
Hoi Ha is designated as Marine Park in 1996 with the protection of <Marine Park Ordinance>.

Hoi Ha Wan

Hoi Ha is diverse in coral species, where 59 out of 88 species in Hong Kong could be found. Coral fish amount to over 120 species. Other marine creatures include starfish.
Coastal habitats like the mangrove are also of high ecological value.

  Hoi Ha is an inner bay with good water quality and well-grown coral communities.
  Increasing visitors give rise to excessive rubbish.
There are many reported cases of illegal fishing.
Snorkeling and diving is becoming more frequent, which lack enough monitoring, coral community could be seriously degraded.
